The Ghost Inside Announce European Tour with Stray From The Path

American hardcore band The Ghost Inside have announced a European tour in January and February next year. The three-week run will start on January 25th in Cologne (Germany), and will give fans a chance to see the band’s performance after their latest release Get What You Give.The tour will also feature performances by Deez Nuts (co-headliners), Stray from the Path and Devil in Me.

Ohio rocks. Who knew?

Had to opportunity to get to Houston yesterday and catch most of the show for the AP Tour.  My intentions were to talk to Miss May I and catch their show, but was also able to catch Like Moths to Flames.  Score on that one.

Talking to the Miss May I guys, Levi Benton and Ryan Neff, before the show, we discussed being moved from the main room of The House of Blues to the much smaller Peacock Room.  A band was signed at the last moment and some scrambling had to be done, but I believe that the guys put on a much more intimate show from the Peacock.  Since the guys have been touring for the last few years, including over seas, they have played much larger venues than this.  Sure, it was a step back, but the guys took it in stride and were excited to be…

I really hope it will be A Day To Remember

A Day to Remember is a post-hardcore, pop-punk band from Ocala, Fla.  Their album titled Homesick consumed my life freshman year of college.  I literally played the crap out of that album.  And when What Separates Me From You came out, I was drawn back in once again.  I think that A Day to Remember is one of those bands that has successfully found the perfect middle ground between the different styles they want to play.  Although they started as a more hardcore band, they have become very mainstream and have songs now that aren’t hardcore at all.  My favorite A Day to Remember songs are the ones that blend their pop rock side and their hardcore metal side because those are the songs that really show what the band is all about.  I would love to get to see ADTR (A Day to Remember) in concert someday because I…
